"A June Attempt"
CASTING NOTICE for “A June Attempt”. Daily compensation and meals will be provided.
A June Attempt is a proof-of-concept short for the feature-length script that we are working to obtain funding and produce in the future. See bottom of notice for information on production company and director.
Logline: After years of failed attempts, a group of guys plot the ultimate plan to get their sweet, yet mediocre friend out of the friend zone with June, a damn near perfect 10.
When/ Where: Sun Studios of Arizona March 4, 11am – 3pm. Filming will be 2 days toward the end of March…tentatively 3/23 – 3/24, but subject to change based on scheduling.
Charlie: Male. Late 20’s, early 30's. Awkward, boyish looks, side part hairdo, and shirt buttoned up one-too-many buttons. Any Ethnicity. PAID, needed 2 days on set
Evan: Male, late 20’s to early 30's. Attractive, confident but sweet, nice guy persona. Any Ethnicity. PAID, Needed 1 day onset.
Roommate: Male, late 20s, 30s. Unkempt, think Zach Galifianakis or TJ Miller type. PAID, Needed 1 day onset.
June: Female, late 20’s to early 30's. Very attractive yet approachable, a damn near 10 in every way. The awesome chick that can hang with the guys. PAID, Needed 1 day onset.
Waitress: Attractive, 20's, any ethnicity. Smaller role with few lines. (Only needed ½ day, but will have small compensation and plenty of food.)

The production company, Rose Colored Productions, is a local Arizona production company owned by the director, Butterfly Cherry. This will be her 9th produced short film. She has also produced 1 feature film and countless video productions for corporate or commercial use.
